Louisiana Field Reports: Harvest Underway, Mostly Average Yields

“Corn harvest started this past week with yields being average to slightly above average. Rain last Friday slowed down or stopped harvest for the day. Soybeans are beginning to finish off with little disease pressure. Insect pressure is low in soybeans, but with corn drying down, the potential for increased insect pressure is present. Sweet potatoes are sizing up nicely.”
