Coushatta Farmer Transforms Small Pea Patch into Picturesque Produce Shop

When Ed Lester III was 8-years-old, his father, the late Ed Lester Jr., put him under an ancient oak tree on Louisiana Highway 84 to sell purple hulls from a 2-acre patch just across the highway. For 50 years, Ed has sold those peas in the same spot, now Ed Lester Farms.
