Ten North Louisiana Parishes Designated as Contiguous Natural Disaster Areas

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has designated 13 counties in Arkansas and 69 counties in Mississippi as primary natural disaster areas due to losses and damages caused by a recent drought. Ten Louisiana parishes also qualify for natural disaster assistance because they are contiguous to those Arkansas and Mississippi counties.

The Louisiana parishes are Bossier, Caddo, East Carroll, Morehouse, Union, West Carroll, Concordia, East Carroll, Madison and Tensas.
