Louisiana Chick Placements Down 4 Percent from Last Year

Broiler-type chicks placed for meat production in Louisiana were 3.25 million during the week ending June 4, 2016. Placements were down 4 percent from the comparable week in 2015 and down 2 percent from the previous week.
