LAFAYETTE - Governor John Bel Edwards revealed the harsh realities of the state’s budget to the American Sugar Cane League in Lafayette.

Despite facing the largest deficit in Louisiana history, Edwards told local sugarcane farmers that his administration will do all they can to protect the industry and the LSU AgCenter.
