Grateful

It’s the day after returning from our Ag Leadership international trip to Japan and Thailand and one word comes to mind – Grateful.

I’m grateful for this opportunity to experience another culture and agriculture in different countries. It is truly a unique experience that I’ve had the good fortune to experience on eight occasions.

I’m grateful for the support of our program that allows this to happen. The backing through the LSU AgCenter, the LSU Foundation and the Ag Leaders of Louisiana is greatly appreciated by everyone involved with the program.

I also want to thank the people with Louisiana Farm Bureau. The coverage on our trips was the vision of Mike Danna. I know he would be proud of the work done by Avery Davidson, Neil Melancon and Karl Wiggers. In addition, he would have loved the added blog posts by so many class members. For that we are grateful.

Finally, I’m grateful for the wonderful experience I had with Class XVI on this trip. They were awesome. I’m looking forward to our graduation in a month so we can share our final experience together.
