Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report

Louisiana hatcheries set 3.75 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending September 21, 2019, up 16 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 2 percent from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.19 million during the week ending September 21, 2019, up 3 percent from the comparable week in 2018 but down 2 percent from the previous week.
