Rains Slow Field Work; Cotton Harvest Well Underway

Rainy conditions across much of Louisiana slowed field work, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. Cotton harvest is well underway in Louisiana, with 19 percent of the crop now harvested. Soybean harvest is 56 percent done, still behind the 63 percent five-year average pace.
