Louisiana Soybean & Cotton Planting Still Running Behind; Wheat Harvest Begins

More rain across the Bayou State is keeping farmers behind schedule getting the 2019 soybean and cotton crops in the ground, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. Wheat harvest has begun on the few acres of wheat that are grown in the state.
