The Louisiana Cotton and Grain Association is holding its annual meeting Tuesday, February 27th at the Bayou DiSiard Country Club in Monroe. This will be a joint meeting of the LCGA and the Louisiana Agricultural Corporation Self-Insured Fund.

****New "Seed Cotton" Program**** 

As you are all aware, cotton got back into Title I of the 2014 Farm Bill with the inclusion of the "Seed Cotton" Program in the recent Continuing Resolution/Budget Bill passed by Congress just two weeks ago. The program will address and account for the generic base acres, that all of us have interest in, as well as providing a much needed safety net for cotton producers. It is vitally important that you come join us for the update on these recent, groundbreaking developments that are to implemented for the 2018 crop year.
