Louisiana Corn Acreage Dropped in 2017, but Production Remained the Same

Louisiana farmers planted 120,000 acres less corn in 2017 compared to the previous year, but an excellent crop made up for the difference. USDA's final 2017 corn production estimate shows practically no change in corn production from 2016 to 2017.
