LSU AgCenter to Offer Master Cattleman Classes in Jena

The LSU AgCenter will conduct Master Cattleman classes in Jena this spring. AgCenter regional livestock specialist Jason Holmes said participants will learn to be proficient in beef cattle management. Topics will include pasture agronomy, pasture weeds, beef cattle nutrition, reproduction, breeding and selection, animal health, cattle handling, economics and marketing, and end product.
