Jack Dillard: Pecan Harvest Will Be in Full Swing for Thanksgiving

I visited with Donnie Leflett last week, checking on the pecan crop in the Red River Valley, and he reported a good looking crop — more pecans than last year and their quality looks to be great. If we can have some dry weather (not tear up the orchard with ruts), he believes the harvesting and cracking of this year’s crop could be in full swing by Thanksgiving week.
