Farmers Markets Hit by Rain, Late Harvest

Normally, local farmers’ markets are great places to find an abundance of locally grown food. Lately, though, thanks in large part to Mother Nature, not so much. The unusually wet fall has put a hold on harvesting crops by local farmers, and the pinch is being felt most heavily where they sell their products directly to consumers.
