Louisiana Corn Planting Wrapping Up

Louisiana farmers have planted the 2017 corn crop at a lightning pace, nearly doubling the percentage of the crop that is normally planted by this time of year. The latest report from the National Ag Statistics service estimates corn planting at 80 percent done, compared with the 5-year average pace of 48 percent.
