Rain Brings End to Dry Fall

Franklin Parish and surrounding areas received a much-needed rain Tuesday, after what the National Weather Service called a "historically dry" fall for the region. “Oh, it was very welcomed,” said Carol Pinnell-Alison, Extension Agent with the LSU AgCenter. “The folks with rye grass and cattle have had it tough. It’s just been powder out there.”
