Governor, Commissioner Strain Continue Statewide Agriculture Listening Tour

BATON ROUGE – Gov. John Bel Edwards and Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M., will continue their travel across the state to tour farms and hear from local agriculture and forestry producers.

On Tuesday of this week, Gov. Edwards and Commissioner Strain visited Wooldridge Cattle Company in Mooringsport, La. and Venoy Kinnaird Farm in Bastrop, La. The agriculture and forestry industries are valued at approximately $11 billion in Louisiana.
