A major paper mill closed its fine paper production unit near Baton Rouge, and it is causing a major concern for forestry operations in the area. An economic analysis indicates it will have more than a $200 million-effect on the local economy the first year. LSU AgCenter reporter Craig Gautreaux has the story.
Across Louisiana, 4-H'ers are showing their animals at local livestock shows with aspirations to qualify for the state show. While pygmy goats are one of the smaller show animals, it still takes a big effort to get them ready for the competition. LSU AgCenter correspondent Craig Gautreaux tells us how one 4-H'er preps his goat for showing.
