Increased Shipments of Rough Rice from the Port of Lake Charles Drawing Attention of Rice Farmers

In October of 2015 the first ocean vessel was loaded in the new IFG Holdings grain terminal in the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana, an initiative along with the South Louisiana Rail Facility that has given new energy and new market alternatives to area rice farmers in both Louisiana and Texas.
