USDA Issues Safety-Net Payments to Louisiana Farmers in Response to 2015 Market Downturn

ALEXANDRIA – USDA Louisiana Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director, Craig A. McCain announced that approximately 57,500 Louisiana farms that enrolled in safety-net programs established by the 2014 Farm Bill will receive financial assistance for the 2015 crop year.
