Louisiana Farm Bureau Activates Hay Clearinghouse

The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation activated its Hay Clearinghouse Monday in response to the historic flooding across south Louisiana.  

"This early in the process, we really don't know how much of a need is out there," said Hay Clearinghouse coordinator Carey Martin.  "We just felt like it was necessary to go ahead and start coordinating donations from those who are in a position to contribute."  

All hay donations should be made through the VoiceofLouisianaAgriculture.com website.  There is a "Hay Clearinghouse" link at the top of the page.
